Bournemouth Community BIG POEMS
Local people were invited to add their verses, lines, words or ideas to three physical BIG POEMS, which then circulated around various venues – at Bournemouth Triangle, and in Boscombe and Southbourne. There were also online versions of the poems, for those who preferred to post contributions there.
The physical poems are now being collected in, but it’s not too late to add your comments online, if you’d still like to have a go over Christmas and New Year. You can do that by clicking one if the links below.
I’ll be away until mid January. When I’m back, I’ll gather the online contributions and collate them with the physical ones, and so hopefully be able weave them into three true community poems written by all of us. I’m looking forward to the finished pieces and to seeing what we’ve all come up with!
Remember, anyone can contribute to these poems – children and adults, and you don’t need to have any experience of writing poetry to add a line/ verse / idea / comment about the area and its community and what it means to you.
Happy writing! – James
